I don't think mine were shot. Maybe I lowered the bike, to align holes, I don't remember, but that is first thing I would try doing. I've done it few times, and don't remember at this moment. Maybe 12.5s and 13s are close enough. I would have thought once you get it off the ground and weight off, you could do it.
Just googled this, there are threads on this forum about people doing it one at a time. Again I would try this to avoid having to deal with swingarm dropping. Maybe the size diffrene is to much with these socks.
