Congrats on the new bike. I am new to the Harley world and to the HD Forum as well and started with a metric bike also. I just bought an 08 Ultra and there ain't no comparison between the Ultra and the 08 Vulcan I had. The Ultra is a much, much nicer ride. One thread I do recommend is the DIY thread if you like to tinker. I have already installed the radio shack alarm mod and working on the garage door opener hooked to my high beams mod. Also in the near future, I plan to have a quick release kit for my tour pack to get that SG look as well for riding around town. Ride safe!
