Default Engine Tap during cold start???

The temp got down to 53 degrees last night and I left the bike outside overnight. I went to start it this morning and once it fired up it, there was tapping not a light tap but almost a knock it lightened up after about 3min or so then seemed to go away. Any Ideas I am thinking lifters but it was on the primary side and i think it could also be the compensator.

Possibly the Comp, but could also be some piston slap until its up to temp and the engine expands.
