I understand this is an old problem but here goes. I have a 2008 streetglide with Vanc/Hines TD and fuelPak. The bike has been flawless and very smooth up until 6 months ago. An excessive motor vibration started on the way back from Arkansas. Took it to the dealer. Motor mount was kicked to the left about and inch. They moved it back over. Problem was not fixed. Took it back. They said it was within specs. They also said FuelPak may be bad. Should I go ahead and have the mount replaced? Can a mount look good but still be bad? Is there a rear mount?

Did they tell you how the Fuelpak can be bad?.I mean in what way can it be bad?..It looks like those kind of answers sometimes dealers say when they dont have any idea what to say,...
I thought mine was vibrating more than usual one weekend. I took the front mount apart and checked it out. The input I got from the local HD mechanic is that it's very difficult to tell if it's broke short of taking it out.
I bought a mount and tore it apart. Mine was fine so I brought the mount back and got my $70 back for it.
It's not that hard to get to and then you'll know whether it's bad or not.
