Hey, question, what's the difference between Stabil- Marine formula and reg stabil ? I use am little stabil in my gas tank if im not gonna ride for a couple of months i the winter/
should I use the marine formula? it says "ethanol formula on the container"

Big +1 on Seafoam. I've been told that most fuelinjector and carb cleaners work by burning at a higher temp than gas/ethanol which will work somewhat over time. Seafoam, however actually removes the carbon and residue causing it to be taken out through the oil.

My Dad used to lay up outboard motors for the winter up in Maine 50 years ago. Aways squirted it into each cylnlinder and did a dry start with the plugs out to lube every thing up. I have never used it since. He swore by it though...........
Used MMO on carb'd bikes. Fuel only. Great for high mile bikes.
Tried it in my 06 RK and it left a stink on me. Guess the old bikes burned dirty enough for me not to notice the MMO stink. Probably will add some along with stabil for winter storage and fog the cylinders.

I run 100LL avgas in mine when ever I get the chance, and when using 91 pump gas I use "Rocket Fuel" additive only because I have 10.5:1 comp ratio I can tell if I stop running it...pings like a mother.........

I've replaced Stabil with Seafoam and my bike started right up the other day after sitting for 5 + months while I was deployed..this is on the VTX, don't see why I should change anything when I get the Road King
