I have a 2010 Road King Classic and while I like the bars that are on the bike, they make me sit forward and reach down. Has anyone used the handlebar cover and risers with their original bars?
I would like to know what the risers look like and does it simply bring the bars further up and back as it seems like they would??
Dealer did it one hour labor, kept the stock cables, cover that the risers go thru is in the HD catalog, item # 55879-10 chrome. If you do it, it is also a good time to upgrade to the poly handlebar bushings, which I also did.
I was considering doing that myself about a year ago but wish I could get either a fatter riser or a filler/spacer to fill that gap. I'm sure it's comfortable though.
