Yesterday the HD shop here in Tallahassee called to tell me the Willie G. key I ordered was in. I had already scheduled a test ride on a UC for the weekend but while I was there I asked if I could take my rest ride then and did so. I was on it for about 45 minutes and now I absolutely HAVE to have one. It will take me a few months to come up with a substantial down payment but I foresee a second bike in my corral in the near future. I so envy you all that have one. Don't get me wrong as I love mt RK but the UC is a different animal altogether. Cruise control and steroe alone make it irresistible. I know I could do most of the same to the King but why not have another bike?
If you tested a 2010 or 2011 UC, I can understand your envy. I traded on 06 RG for 2011 RGU and the difference is night and day. The new bikes are so smooth and the handling is incredible.
i don't blame you guys! I had an 08 flht and rode a 2010 flhtc. FELL IN LOVE. I ended up with a 2010 fltcu. I had to limit myself from buying the limited! LOL
I took a 10 CVO ultra for a ride, very nice, I loved that 110ci motor. got back to dealer talked a few numbers and hapily went home on my old 99 UC. Comprimise- It's paid for!
I wanted to move up from my 03 Sporty to a Dyna so I talked to a local dealer. He said I should try going bigger before going with the Dyna or even Road King. He said that after a short time I may want more. I did some test driving and I have to say that dealer knew what he was talking about. I got the Road Glide.
