Default Heat

I was on trip this past weekend got stuck in traffic, Ultra Classic got pretty hot. I stop in at the dealer to have it check out. He told me that even with the paraid mode off that the bike has sensors to shut the engine down before it would do any harm to it. I dont know if this is true or not. Does anyone no this to be true or was he just blowing smoke up my --- ? 08 ultra-classic.

Good to know. I will consult my owners manual later today to see if it says anything about it too.

Make sure the heat management is enabled. I think on the 08's you can do it yourself.

So are you guys seeing a difference in temps after installing these oil coolers compared to before? I just don't see how they work sitting still if no air is flowing over them. If you are running down the road the wind should be doing it's job cooling the motor right? I was thinking about installing one and then got to thinking to hard maybe?
