Steering Neck Bearings
About 6 mos ago, I took my bike in to my local dealer (Sacramento HD), had my worn back tire replaced and asked them to check and adjust my steering neck bearing. They said it was ok, the swing test was in spec and no adjustment needed. I brought it in for a new front tire, asked to have it adjusted again, now they say there's a flat spot on the bearing and it needs replacement. I've got the extended warranty and it's going to be covered. While its apart, I'm having the Race Tech Gold emulators installed. I told them how I ride, which is pretty aggressive. I've been told that these work pretty well. I've got Works Steel Tracker 13" shocks in back, a progressive suspension frame link and now with the tightened front end, it should work pretty well. I'll keep you all posted.
