I have a 2010 FLTRX also and I want the MOs, but wherever I look (J&P, DK) they say (except 2010 FLHX/FLTRX). I do see this year they are offering a kit for about $14 to adapt the left muffler, but they only list the Rounds as being able to fit. The MOs fit though, eh???
I love my MO's, they look great and perform quite well. That being said, I'm trying to get everything I can out of my motor and I'm also looking to lose the headers as well. The MO's will start to get louder as you put more miles on them. Ride safe!
They do sound great...but sometimes I'd like a little more bark out of them...
So I'll ride the crap out of them and see what happens.
I love my MO's on my 09 FLHX. The only problem I have is that I've scraped them several times. It happens when going down small curbs like you see on some driveways and even dips in parking lots etc. On one occassion it actually bent the pipes slightly.
As I look at them, the seem to stick out a bit more than most pipes. Also I think the rectangular shape makes the outside corner catch first.
I like my Monster Ovals a lot ! I'm a great fan of their shape and they sound exactly the way I was looking for : nice deep rumble at idle, they wake up when craking the throttle and don't overpass ( I don't know if this term is correct, accept my apologies for my English skill ! ) the stereo at constant speed.
I'm really impressed by the overall quality of the product and I'm a totally satisfied user !
