The 3:37:1 primary gearing is in the primary; it's an easy swap since it's the primary gearing HD used in the Touring model EFI bikes '99-'01.

It will raise your rpm's approx. 200 @ 70 mph.

Default Yep...

...start with gearing. Drop two teeth up front, gain two teeth out back? I don't know what's the magic ratio number for you, but it looks like you've got reliable help with numbers already...it's all about belt fitment too(length and width) but you shouldn't have too much problem getting things sorted because everything should be bolt-on for you to wake her up. Try thinking like this with an '07 or later (cush drive) and life sucks out back (have made many telephone calls to get even close to a 70-tooth cush drive rear pulley that's 1" wide.)

Thanks Craig. It sounds like you know what your talkin about. I have found a shop fairly close to home that i've been hearin a lot of good reports on. I think i'll let him dyno and tune it. He supposedly has the best dyno money can buy. Much better than the HD dealers. What about prober back pressure. I was told to loose the Rineharts that they were hurtin not helpin. Thanks again.

Wrong cams. Find a low end torque cam and you'll be way better. You probably don't ride much in the 4k range. need a good 2k-3500 range cam.

Yes the Rineharts will hurt low end tq.The 2 into 1 system is the best all around performer, but you have to get used to the look.

I respectfully disagree. It's not all the same.If you change cams, yes you could loose a few hp,you might gain in tq though. This is why headwork is so important,it can give you more & a better balance of both. The cam, headwork, & compression must be matched to optimize the performance. If at 3,000rpms my bike makes 100hp/100tq & your makes 80hp/80tq is that the same??

You can change gearing, but in my opinion it's a cheap fix.I would want the motor right. As said before you can go down in the front, which is the same as adding to the rear.Do you really want to loose rpms on a motor that doesn't rev much anyway?? The twin cam motor is done making hp/tq at roughly 5,500.That's not much rpm's.
