Just over two weeks ago a friend and co-worker suffered a bad accident as a deer jumped in front of him on the last day of a multiday ride. He did not hit the deer and does not remember much after hitting the brakes. He suffered many broken ribs and a broken shoulder. He now is at home recovering and we expect him back in the real world in several weeks. The wierd thing is the bike in just scratched up on the rear. He thinks the trailer he was towing came around and caused him to come off of the bike. Has anyone heard or had experience with trailers causing trouble or accidents during a hard break. --- wish him well and back in the saddle soon.
