If the LED never needs replacing, I presume it's a sealed beam? I recently replaced my headlight lens and bulb. Now I need to remove them and clean the lens because the lens fogged. I would expect this should not happen with the LED.
At $900 for the headlight and passing lamps, they can keep it. Items like this should be standard in this day and age just for the safety factor alone. Or, at the very least offered as an option at a heavily discounted price on a new bike. $900 is just ridiculous.
I am waiting for HD to start selling the LED Headlights for the Road Glide's Double Headlights.

You won't save much, HD is selling them for about what they go for without the orange and black box. The non-HD version has a 4 year warranty, though...
