I have another point of view. My local store had to cut back hours to stay in business. Staff changes too. I can get a better price online but I can't get better service so I keep spending my cash at the local store. If you local store sucks, I would let the owner know and also let them know that you are taking your business to another store if they don't make it right. It is possible that your local store can give you a break on the price of some things, but you should ask them about it.
Good luck to you either way you go and Power to the Customer!
Rossmeyer has one just off of Main Street in Daytona, too. Can't remember if it's an outlet during Bike Week and Biketoberfest, though, or if they change the merchandise for special events.
Most of the local dealerships, have a discount/used/take off display. Some offer pretty good deals, others... not so much.
for new parts
Zanotti rocks!.... but get a big order together, or the shipping, will eat any savings

I bought several of last year's Xmas gifts from Sauk Prairie and their prices and service were great. Another great place is GR Harley in MI. I highly recommend both for apparel.
