If it states Dot 4 on the covers, then yes. Use what your bike calls for. You didn't state the year, so can't help with anything more than that.

What year. DO NOT get it on the paint. Don't ask how I know this.

As far as I know, any Dot 4 will work for your brakes and as a wonderful paint stripper.

Cover screws were over tightened. Most people see seepage so they tighten the screws even more. That makes it worse. I got a little Dot 4 on my front fender when I installed the apes. It WILL mess up your paint and it wont take long.

Any DOT4 brand will work, just use a new fresh container and you will be fine. Like everyone already said, dont get it on the paint.

I bought some DOT 4 at the dealership yesterday for my 09 FLHTC. Read the bottle carefully. The dealership a the warning label states to discard after one week of opening the container for fear of water build up. My question is if they worry about that happening in the bottle once it is open and recapped, what happens in the master cylinder?

Just a thought.
