I like the look of the roadking fender and tail lights. maybe that makes mine a " kingstreet ".

I rode my 1971 Triumph 650 Tiger to Daytona from Syracuse NY in 1975 during hurricane season with the whole east coast underwater. I had to be at AMI for fall classes. I haven't been without a fairing since 1988 so it's an RK for me. I like to tinker with my bikes and make them my own, as so many of you do. Just a thought I had about a "street king". By the way- thanks for hanging in and responding to my original start of this thread. I've been lurking on and off here for years, and lurking amongst HDs and HD riders for decades. Thanks again go to Green MT. HD for helping me solve my fit issues. John
I was just curious, you went ami in 76? I went in 77 did you stay in the industry?

Default My Version of a Street King

This is probably different from what some of you interpret as a "Street King". But anyway it's my version. It works for me!

Parts are always found on Ebay... Saw the tail end of a CVO touring for 900+. I love the tail of the CVO touring..

The cvo sg facia on on a rk would look fantastic. If "they" offer the cvo rear facia that is already color matched then i'd consider it for my 2012 rk. If not, im happy with led tail/blinkers set up i have.

Here's the way mine turned out:

SG wheels/tires, SG rear turn signals and fascia and tri-bar light, SG seat,
SG front fender

Made a nice integrated look IMO

Default Detachable OEM Fairing?

I'm new to this forum and to Harleys, but have been riding for 38 years. I love my newly inherited 2005 Road King Classic (but not the circumstances). I, too, am wanting to use OEM fairing parts to make a removable fairing - could you go into more detail about how you did it?

Did you just purchase a street glide rear fender and install it. Were there any fitment issues
