I'm on order for 07 Ultra but won't have the bike for a while. What is the Harley Tax? I know for a carb bike its pipes, breather and jetting but not a clue for Fuel Injected...
What is the average cost?
From reading this forum the pipes will get rid of the tranny wind, and remapping will get rid of the heat

Harley Tax = Make the bike breathe (Air Cleaner) + Richer fuel to air mixture (cooler/more power) + Pipes to efficently get rid of gasses (power and sound)
The EPA has forced the MOCO to lean out the cycles to meet emission standards.

Had mine done Saturday. Got a discount on the parts from the dealer I bought the bike from. Your dealer should give you a discount too. Make sure to ask.

I also had the 1K service done at the same time. You should think about having them do the work before delivery. My runs cooler now that its not so lean. Iâm really diggin my 07 Ultra Classic. Enjoy yours and be safe. Hope this helps.

Johnny,, which slip ons did you use? Ive been lookin in the book, and SE offers 2 street legal styles for our bike, Ive been waiting to see and hear them in pearson,, if ya look at the dyno charts not much gain,, so is there much sound difference? and why did you have to install the race tuner?

PN 64903-99 - SE slash down. They pulled out a different MOCO mag for these. I dont think they are in the 07 book.
Installed the race tuner after a few chats with one of the techs at the service dept. He said PCIII is not set up yet to run the O2 sensor and the SE race tuner is Harleys answer to the adjustability of the PCIII. Also, I didnt want to wait for the PCIII, my thighs were overheating stock was running way to lean. (Dang hot here in FL) The jury is still out on the sound. They are pretty agressive. 2 bars up on the radio vol.
