If you got a new lock set for $20.00 won't you still need the lost key to open the tour pack to change out the lock set??????

No, because the keys that come with the lock set will be keyed to the stock locks.

Couple of weeks ago had to order a spare key for wife's super glide as we were down to 1 key and I wanted to avoid the inevitable......

Anyway, 2 keys from dealer $25 and it took about 1 week.

A trip to the local lock smith can get you a key made, worked for me. Oh and they can use the number just cost more than to duplicate your key. Cost me 3 bucks.

Dealer can get you new keys with vin # or key code.

here's an old easyriders mag tech tip, keep your spare key inside the tail light lens. tape it down so it doesn't rattle around in there. phillips screwdriver, remove the lens, you have your key.

if you order a lock cylinder for a tourpack it is $16.50 and comes with 2 keys. Don't get caught up on the fact that you do or do not have a tourpack, they use the same key as the ignition and as far as I know HD keys are all alike for the current modle year.

Keys can be ordered by the vin. Come in twos and are right at 20.00 for the pair. Ordered two sets last year flh and fx less than a week and dealer had both my vins in his computer
