Bike died
Last night a friend called me looking for help he was comming home riding on the Hwy and his bike 08 Street Glide just died the bike turns over but wont start any ideas had to put bike on the trailer to get him home..

Mine had the same issue after shutting it down, and trying to restart. In my case it was the pressure regulator at the fuel line quick release at the bottom left side of the tank.
Just pull up on the chrome ring and down on the fuel line to disconnect, reverse to reconnect.
It relieves the pressure at the quick connect and if that's it, it should start right up..
In early 08, the fuel regulator/filter (in the tank) might have a crack in it. Recalled part for that model.

Did it "just" quit running or did it sputter to stop? Makes a difference.
Sputter so to speak is a fuel issue.
Just quitting is an electrical issue.
Cranks but no go? Spark and or as was mentioned fuel.

There was a SB on the fuel filter housing cracking on the '08's. This should be covered under warranty.

There claiming it was done but the bike shouldnt need a filter with under 10k he is trying to get the dealer to fix it under the SB
