Yeah I whined like a biatch last time here on my bike but I guess the timing was just bad. At the time I was working in Monticello and staying at Tallahassee and more often than not it rained on the way home, often times severely. Then the last 3 days were nice but I rode the bike home, flew back and got a rental car. I think it rained once the 2 weeks I had the rental. So last Friday I flew back home and rode the bike back Sunday. It was a great 650 mile trip and the forecast looks pretty good for what that's worth...
From my hotel to where I am now working is 3.2 miles of traffic but sure is nicer being back on my bike. If luck holds out I will get to do some decent riding and discover some cool places to go riding.
Before I left I showed the wife where my heated gloves, leather jacket and chaps are should I need her to send them to me but I will be flying back in 3 weeks anyway. Now I just need a safe place to keep my bike while I am gone and hoping to find a good hearted soul at work that has space in their garage as leaving in in the hotel parking lot does not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. Hmmm, wonder if the HD shop would let me keep it there????
Anyway sorry if I stepped on anybody's toes last time but again, my timing just seemed bad. Ah hell I can't help this. Sure was fun to ride the twisties at home!!!!:icon_ snowball:
