Where is the best and cheapest place to buy a scarlett red tour pac? I can't seem to find one used and don't want to pay full price at the local dealer.

I got my King TP early this yr at Lake Shore HD when they had 20% off and free shipping. Check them out. I keep getting emails from them and a few others having sales right now.

Yep, look for dealership discounts - I know Surdyke.com is standard 20% cheaper on their parts. Also, best to get the color match b/c then you don't have to pay/wait for paint & painted price is probably cheaper than primed + added $$$ to paint. Good luck!

Bought mine and all the HW fro Chicago HD.....20% off. Ebay also has alot of them for a pretty decent price if you do not mind used. Just watch the shipping cost.

This link is sometimes hard to find.

Lakeshore:

http://www.lshd1.com/servlet/StoreFront

You can enter a part # in the search box or you can do an advanced search and use a keyword.

Look at this result:

http://www.lshd1.com/servlet/Detail?no=760142

When I ran the part through, it came up with FREE SHIPPING.

Oh, and make sure you order the lock set and matched keys for your bike (if you can). I forgot and had to go to my local HD to order. They require vehicle ID to order, unless they know you well, for security purposes.

I bought my color matched Chopped Tour Pak, Pad and Liner over the net from Zanotti HD. https://www.zanottimotor.com/
Saved over $300.

Or a matching lock set also. Give them you VIN off your bike. That way, all the locks will work with one key.

Am I correct that there is a number on the key if you pull back the plastic cover?

BTW Jonny, good call on the lockset.
