I put a 21 front and a 17 rear on my 2010 Street Glide a couple of months ago and noticed the ABS light came on. Thinking I didn't install the sensor correctly, I finally got arounnd to taking it to Harley today and was told since the wheels aren't the same size as the factory there is nothing I can do about it. The ABS has basically disabled itself. Kinda sucks, I did get the ABS option for free though. Has anyone else had this happen to them? It's just bugs me seeing that light on all the time.

They are wrong. You probably have a bad ABS bearing. Many have put 21s on their bike without issue. It's not a size of the wheel thing...
ya only thing i can see a tire size mattering is if they had traction control, i know on my old z06 i had to watch tire dia when i was choosing tires, cause it would trip the traction control thinking the rears where spinning faster then fronts.
hmm this topic came up with a buddy this morning...
Regardless, There are spacers on the front and rear axles that have 2 grooves in them. They sit inside the area where the ABS sensors are for the axles. It is very easy to put them on backwards, don't ask how I know. Refer to your manual.
I think the ABS DVD that came with your bike makes mention of changing tire sizes, or maybe it is talked about in your Owners Manual. Those are worth checking. It talks about changing the size of the tire changes the input to the speed sensors or something like that.
Just talked to my service guy at Harley and he said even though Harley says there is nothing you can do, Performance Mahine says there should be no problem at all with this set up.
I put a 21" on the front and 17" on the rear and I have ABS. The ABS still works no problem.......and the idiot light works properly.
Other than that, I'm no help.......sorry.

Well, in theory, the ABS module should compare revs per mile from front to back. How else would it know if one tire was locking at what speed? There logically seems to be some correlation...
