I really need bars that have more pull back than necessarily more height. Are there bars out there that would give me more pull back and a "tad" more height?
I went with Touring pullback handlebars from H.D. 56176-08. Those are advertised as 2" pullback. Those bars are for 08 and up models.
Those worked for me and worked with my mirrors and lines ,cables, etc. Around a hundred bucks. They look almost stock on the ultra. just enough so I don't have to hunch over reaching for the bars . I can straighten up my shoulders on longer trips and eliminate the pain in the neck and between the shoulder blades. The HD web site parts and accessories pages have a good selection of bars to choose from . A good place to start searching.
I just got my Khromewerks 300515 +2 wide sweepers in the mail the other day.
These are about 2" closer to you and 3" wider than stock with an improved wrist position.
I had the same bars without TBW on my 06 FLHT which were the 300505.
I liked them so much , I figured the new bike needed a set also.
The shaping and price make them a hard deal to beat now days.
Here's a nice writeup by BertK here at the forum. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...rs-w-pics.html
I am going with a 38649-08 clutch cable and poly bushings on mine.
