Default Switching between maps with the PC-V

Can this be done on the fly or does the bike have to be shut off first?

Once you enable the switch you can change maps on the fly.

I enabled the switch but it only seems to change when I turn the ignition button on the right grip off. this as seen on the screen as i was finishing up the install of my switch.

I have auto-tune and the switch installed.
I am also running the LCD-200 digital read out and you can see the switch in maps as soon as you flip the switch.

Switch on, bike running. There are several threads on here related to this subject.

I see the maps change where it says "current map" on the right sidebar but if it says current map "1" and I flip the switch it does not change unless I shut the run switch off, flip the map switch to "2" then turn the run switch back on it will then show current map to be "2". If I then switch it back to the map "1" position there is no change on the screen. Is this just the nature of the laptop computer software and it is in reality actually switching or do I have a problem that will nessitate a call to Fuel Moto?

Thanks

I just did this install last week and went through the same thing. I even pulled the switch back out thinking my wiring was wrong. The issue was the bike needed to be running. I left my laptop connected, started the bike and the map would switch no problem. With the bike off, it would not switch.

My problem is with the bike running there is no change in maps aparrent on the right side of the screen when I flip the switch. Maybe I have to run that update to the software.
