I don't know about the PCV, but the PCIII would not switch in the software until you closed and re-opened the app. IOW, to change maps you should first close the software, flip the switch, and then re-open the software. With the PCIII the maps will switch but the software only sees the map it saw when first launched.
loaded 2 maps, set up the switch good but maps wont switch ??
have the laptop hooked up and it shows map 2 and wont switch between maps...
Any ideas?
Had this set up before I got the TTS Mastertune. The bike does not have to be running to switch between maps, but you do have to cycle the run switch on and off in between fliping your map switch when the bike is off. Put your map switch in one position with your laptop connected and turn on the run switch. Now turn off the run switch and flip the map switch to the other position and turn the run switch back on. You should see your map change. This happens on the fly when the bike is running. If the map is not switching after doing what I described then check your wiring.
The bike has to be running with mine then when you switch it you can see on the right side of the software it will show which map you are running. You can enable map swithc in config and then load two maps and selcet which switch it goes to. But you have to have the bike running to actually switch and see the change.
bike has to be running or the map # will not toggle if switched. but you should be able to download the 2 maps and see a split window on laptop so you are sure you have the two maps in the PCV. also - make sure you have selected MAP SWITCH to ON on the PC Configure tools.
