I left Honda two years ago when I traded my VTX. I gave up some power but gained oh so much more. Took her for a ride this evening and when I came out of the store I had to stop and stare for a moment. No other bike has ever affected me like my 03.

Congrats from a previous Clinton Twp resident (16 years ago). Now the bad news..... It is time for y'all to put it away for about 6 months 
. While you're out getting some tools you might as well get a Battery Tender. Our prime riding season is just about to get started down here Sanford Bikefest and Daytona Beach Biketoberfest right around the corner.
Now... if the stupid lovebugs would get out of here.....

Same boat and dam near the same bike (minus the power pack). I've had metric bikes for over 20 years and kick myself now for never going Harley. Love the SG and probably will need a good lawyer if my road trips with the bulls don't taper off a bit.

Congrats on the new ride! I'm about to make the switch also as I'm expecting my RK to be delivered right around November 1. Hope to get maybe a few rides before the white stuff starts to fly! What metric you coming off of?
