battery tender issue

Default battery tender issue
09 fltr came with battery tender. Plugged it in yesterday and just blinked red. Anyone have this happen...I know they are not expensive to replace but are they covered under warranty.

My battery tender blinks red when charging goes green when the battery is topped off seems all good to me.

1+ if after a few hours it doesn't turn to green, check the fuse connected to the battery

On mine if red is blinking it is not connected properly. When charging properly red stays on. When 80% charged green light starts blinking. When fully charged green light stays on and red light goes off. Might want to see if pig tail is connected properly to your battery.

Same with mine. Blinking red not connected properly. To Ground on bike or positive on battery.

Had this problem on my 08 UC. I found one of the wires that connects to the battery was broken.

That is correct. Either it's not connected completely or there is a broken wire.

check your connections, should have a solid red on hook up
