Default Replacements for Dunlop D408?
I, about to replace the 2nd D408 on my EGC with 17k miles. Harley said the roads in Florida are rough on tires because the roads are made of shell, but I think I should be getting better mileage than I am. Are there any other tires for the 09 egc besides Dunlop's

I run Dunlop E3 on the rear 180 60 16R & Dunlop 140 75 17R on the front.The rear is designed for the 1800 GoldWing & the front is for a FatBoy.They wear & ride better,handling is sweet.Regards,Tom

On my 09 ultra I got 16200 on the stock tires, They cupped or i would have gotten more. I just replaced them with dunlops.

I am running Avon Cobras, they stick like glue and ride very nice. I like them more than the original Dunlops especially since I had major cupping issues with the Dunlops.

I changed to Avon Venoms and really like them and while Metzlers are also very good bike tires neither will get the milage of Dunlops.
