I just got my V & H FuelPak UPS last night. I read the quick instructional page and it seems like a breeze to install. Then I look up my bike / Pipes / Stage 1 / Baffles and low and behold it's not listed. It tells me to go on the internet. I select 06 Touring SE Pro One Slip Ons Slash Cut Down / Stage 1 Baffles Standard. It tells me to call an 800 Number to get the Map. I call the 800 number and I get a nice enough guy on the other end of the line and I tell him how my bike is setup and he tells me to hold on he need to talk to Adam the FuelPak Guru. When he returns to the phone he tells me the FuelPAk does not play nice with 06 Bike that have the stage 1 Flash and that I need to go back to Harley and have the bike reflashed to stock. Then load the Map that is in the materials that came with the FuelPak. He tells me the only down side is that the rev limiter will be changed back to stock. He also claims that Harley will reflash bikes back to stock at No Charge (find this hard to believe).
Anyone else have this issue??
I was all set to do this upgrade this evening.
