2009 Vs 2011 FLHTCU FLHX
My ride is: FLHTCU 2009 with 20,800 miles -
Prior to my ride up to Reno for the 2010 Street Vibration bike went in for Warranty work
Tires: New 408F - 407R with 5k miles
New SE Full Clutch Kit
New Stator and Starter Clutch
All New Seals and gaskets replaced
Works front end spring kit / Reinharts / stage 1 / short windshield
Test rode: FLHX and FLHTCU 2011 Models
All bikes had the same strange rear end wiggle, that my bike now has since installing the 408F... maybe a mixed match set of tires is not a good thing - Calling Dunlop today....
2011 Models were so darn quite, I could hear the Primary chain rattle...
I could NOT tell any difference with the SE Compensator Vs my old stock weak one
I took both bikes for a 20 plus mile hard ride - headed straight out towards Fernly....
I was really looking for something that would make me get off the 2011 and ask the service dept. to replace my Compensator, or anything that the new 2011 bikes are offering over my old 2009.....nothing stood out...
Well maybe the seat on the FLHTCU....made me realize that the Harley stock seat does not hold up that well at all, or did Harley firm that area up ???
Any way... with all my Warranty work, maybe I have a 2011 upgrade , LOL
Going from my 2007 to 2009 HUGE Difference and that's why I sold my 2007 after test riding a 2009.....
Like I said , it's just MOP...
