Default Wheel Cleaning chalk

Has anyone seen or used this before? Is it a dream or a waste of money?

I just use a jack. Imagine getting on the chalk and off it?

Good idea but they don't work as well as expected. You still have to bend over and the bike is still leaning towards the left. It takes quite a bit of effort to turn the wheel even on the rollers
Spend the money on building a simple lift, maybe something like this

Great idea for the simple bike lift. Sometimes, I like to tinker around outside on the patio but always have to drag the bulky hydraulic lift outa the garage. I'm going to give this a shot. Thanks.

not looking to start a motorcycle jack debate, but spend an extra couple of bucks and buy the Harbor Freight yellow motorcycle jack. They run coupons in many magazines for these from time to time and you get get one for well under a hundred bucks. It (actually any MC jack) makes cleaning the entire bike a breeze and are about as handy as any tool that you will ever puchase for your bike. Like many have said before, you will wonder what you did before you owned it.

The chock (not chalk) works well under two conditions:

The rear wheel, pull it up on the chock, put it in gear and ride it up to about 10 MPH. Have the spouse, neighbor, whoever lean over and apply the rag or sponge to the wheel. Couple seconds adn you're ready for the other side.

Front or rear wheel sworks well if you rig a lawnmower engine and a pulley to the chock to power the rollers.

Ok, I know I'm joking, but I actually saw that last one years ago in a guys garage. He had two sets of rollers, the front one had a brace to stop forward movement and side rollers to secure the front tire. When he fired it up, the wheels turned and the bike stood straight upright.

Now, to the OP, like others said, buy the jack, you will never regret it.

Yeah really, I was wondering how the hell you clean your wheel with chalk. It seemed counter productive. LOL

I built one of these about 10 years ago and use it all the time on numerous bikes of mine and friends I do work for, Ultras, Rockers, Intruders, V-Stars... I also have 2 good hydraulic jacks but never use them unless I have to get both wheels off the ground.

It is absolutely the handiest tool I have for working on bikes.

Have one for my Deuce. Woks fine and was only 20 bucks. Ya do have to get your tire on it square or else the tire will walk to one side of it and wedge against the side and stop.
