extended bags clearance?

extended bags clearance?

I am seriously looking at the Milwaukee extended bags for my RK, question is that I do not try to grind anything when cornering but will the 4" depth of the bags grind out easily?

I've ridden some of the most curvy roads (Dragon,Snake, etc) in the eastern US and have not drug a bag yet. My bike is not lowered and the 21 front wheel raises the frame some, so that helps. There are metal skip plates available for the bottom of the bags if you feel it necessary.

Mine are +4.25 and I have not had a problem. I pump up the air ride some and I have skid plates just incase.

Worst problem is pulling out of driveways,just have to be careful. will be installing skid plates over winter down time.

my buddy ed has draged his.his bike has 13 inch shocks on the rear.most of the time it happens at 35 or so in a long sweeping corner.like he says though you can avoid it if you think ahead of time.
