The older I get the more I believe, that it's not important how I die, but how I lived.
Be honest with your family and yourself. Get some training. If you are still unsure of your abilities move on. You may be better suited to off road or trail riding.

Living life is a risk, IT WILL KILL YOU! My wife and I had a history of about 25 accident free years together when that truck cut us off three years ago. After a month in the Hospital for both of us, followed by three months of checkups and therapy, She went back in the hospital for too much Tylenol. This was another seriously close call for her. THe day she got out we got our replacement bike (second vehicle/daily driver for me). It was an 2008 Ultra Classic. For US we can say we are very glad to be back in action.That was a bad day but during our recovery, a church shooting occurred and a small plane fell out of the sky killing a couple who were sitting in their PARKED car. Life gives us no guarantees, that is where large insurance policies are supposed to help. Ride your bike to the finish or sit on your couch eating bon-bons to the end. Either way it's YOUR choice. I for one am glad that you are deciding to stay in. Enjoy the Ride!
