Running a poll on compensator failures over in General Forum Chat. So far very few failures and low votes. Does this indicate this is NOT a wide spread issue? Or perhaps just a general lack of concern.
Recently had mine replaced with new one. Didn't know it was a problem until shop installing my 107" pistons and compression releases asked me about clanking noise when shutting down the engine. Being my first Harley I didn't know what noises were normal and what wasn't....cost me another $400.00.....sheesh.
Now I hear there's a better replacement...a Screamin' Eagle heavy duty version...I hate Harley-Davidson.....
