My search for a decent sounding touring muffler has ended. As you may or may not know my true dual set up with classic ovals has been wearing me out on long super slab rides. City drivin was fine, just got too tiring out on the slab. Now for the good news.....the monster ovals are just that monstrous!!! The install was straight forward and the quality was.....V&H say no more. The sound from these new cans is great, a nice deep throaty...rumble at idle and cruise. hearing the radio is no problem at 70 mph. When you stand on it they come alive with authority. Motor seems to like them as well with the increased back pressure. throttle response and running quality is better than the classic ovals. I will run another Vtune session to clean up the map and it should be spot on. NOTE: for those that are running stock head pipes and Head pipes with a cat, these cans may be too quiet. The duals and cams really let these things sing at there best without being obnoxious.

$629 from eastern performance......not cheap by any means but well worth it IMO.

Good to hear. V&H makes some top quality stuff. Glad you are satisfied. I may pick up a set for long trips sometime down the road.
