Helmet Mounted Microphone
Our factory mounted CB's have the ability to listen through the speakers, I'm looking for a helmet mounted mic without the ear gear. Has anyone removed them from the factory headset or purchased them?

My wife rides her own, so the CB is our intercom and during warm weather I like to wear a half helmet. I tried a HD over the ear headset and it wasn't comfortable, I guess my ears are too big. Damn getting old!

A Buddy had the same problem with the speakers bothering him and he just cut the helmet speakers off and left the mic. Works good for him. It can be a pain for us riding with him though since when we area stopped at a stop light or driving slowly through town everyone around can hear what we say via his speakers. We have to be carefull what we say.....
