Default Chrome Wheels

I have a 09 Ultra Classic and have been considering getting the stock wheels chromed by one of the plating companies that offer the service. Has anyone out there had their stock wheels chromed? If so how do you like them?

A friend of mine took his (08 EG Classic) to a local chromer, and it turned out great. I'll see if I can dig up a picture.

I will be interested to see how they turn out. Post some pics and your reviews when you have them done. I like the black and chrome version of those rims that come on the Limited. For an easy grand you can have a set. Chroming the stock ones maybe a better route.

There was a guy on here last week that chromes them,I think the name was Shiney ***** or ***** Shiney.A set of new ones from HD isn't very expensive, especially from one of the discount dealers.I bought a set of the Chrome and Black Ultra Limited and I'm very happy with the look and ease of cleaning.

the late model, i think they're 28 spoke wheels chrome up really nice. i went the other way though and got the 9 spoke harley wheels. easy to clean and they look plenty sharp without spending way too much money.
