Default LED Headlights

Curious if anyone has tried HDs LED Headlight yet?

I broke down and bought the HID and installed it a month before Sturgis. It was great [minus the High beam being Halogen] But then they came out with the LED model...

Yes I'd consider the upgrade if it was worth it...

any opinions?

Black version looks killer with black trim ring. State of the art projector beam optics/glass lens.
FYI, Speaker makes OEM halogen, dual bulb halogen, HID/halogen & LED chrome version for HD.
Note: Truck-Lite reflector style LED, 10 bulb, plastic lens @ Kuryakyn/Custom Dynamics, if ya wanna cheap out.

I talked to a guy at an Indy shop about this last weekend and he said the LED model is brighter. Just another thing on my list....

I wouldn't call it cheap out, I owned the the Truck-Lite 7 inch LED and I loved it. I regret not taking it off my RKC when I traded it. I am not sure why people think it is so cheap, Mine took a rock dead center and it didn't even leave a mark. Not sure that glass would have held up to it. If there were more out there for the Aux lights then I would probably go back to LED so I could change all lights out to LED.

The Harley-Davidson LED headlamp and passing lamps are amazing. I have had them since September 15th, and will say without hesitation that they are worth every penny. I have more and better light than every vehicle I have been on the road with at night since then (I'm on the road a couple hours every night on my bike, so I've had time for comparisons).

Not sure what more you want... My bike is 100% LED now. Headlamp, passing lamps (I think this is what you are calling "aux lights"), turn signals, brake light, license plate light (2009 touring had this already), all of them LED and all from the MoCo. I even have the saddle bag spoilers with LEDs and the LED bar in the Airwing luggage rack (I upgraded from my original rack as soon as these came out) added for better visibility.

Lightbulb LED's Work Pretty Good

I could'nt see anything at night with the stock headlight, these LED are at least twice more powerfull and you can see it BIG TIME during the day. They also put out no heat and the draw to the battery is minimal. Worth the $260 with 2 yr warranty

Yep the Passing Lamps(lights) that area. At this point I'm up to buy all new anyhow, looking to go your route all moco but thats a while out at this point. Did you go smoked lens or standard?
