All Harley's come from the factory lean. If you want it to run cooler you will have to invest in headers, pipes, Fuel management system, and A/C to make it breathe more and have it run richer. Just the facts of life since the 2007 models came out with the 96" motor.

My 10 was the same. FM headpipe and stage 1 fixed it right up.

I really liked the RGU, but here in Maricopa county (Phoenix) it's against the rules to fool with the exhaust. No inspections for the first 5 years for a new bike here and there is a move to do away with the inspections all together. I have an 06 WG that will be due an inspection in a few months, wonder if I'll pass?!?!?!

OK so leave the stock exhaust and header and you can install a stage 1 A/C and a download/or PC-V so it can richer and the bike will run cooler.

I like the 103 motor and at times when riding the RGU I feel there is no need to tinker with the performance, but the exhaust is just a tad too quite and I know when the summer hits in NJ it will be running too hot for me.
