All, Bought a set of the black plastic HD wind deflectors for my 2011 RG Ultra. Right side is OK, but the left mount is causing problems with the clutch cable. With the deflector snapped in place the clutch cable is squeezed in between the bottom of the deflector and the bar that the deflector mounts to, but that's not the problem. Problem is when you turn the handlebars, the clutch cable cannot move which causes the plastic cover at the top of the forks to chaff against the clutch cable. After about 800 miles with the deflectors installed, I've good some pretty good marks, or wrinkles, in the clutch cable outer covering. No permenant damage yet, but it won't be too much longer.
Removed the left deflector, and when I turn the bars now, the clutch cable is able to move to the right to avoid contact with the upper folk cover.
Don't know if other year RG's would have the same problem....just wanted to give a heads up.
