Default Pulsating break lights

A friend I ride with has them. Pluses with and without brakes applied but brighter when he brakes.

What do you all think of them. Though I see why they're a good idea, I can't decide if I like them. I'm leaning towards no.

Mine pulse 5 times when I hit the brake. LED so pretty bright. Many have commented about them so to me that means they stick out. One guy in a car pulled up bitching about how bright they are. I like them!
BIG Thumbs up!

I have them. Anything that gets me noticed by traffic is a plus in my book...

I myself do not like them. I noticed when riding in a group and following one, it seems annoying and makes me wonder if the guy is breaking hard or easy, the damn light is flashing! This is especially true when approaching a stop light and the rider applies the brake several times as he is slowing down. The flashing light vs on solid give me no idea on how hard he is braking.
But again that is just me.

I paid $250 for my BAL3 taillight . . . and it worth every penny.

BTW, I asked all my riding friends if it was annoying and most of them said they liked it because they could easily tell when I was braking. The way I ride, if I'm braking, there is a reason. I did turn the intensity down to medium because I was told it was too bright by two of my friends.

You definitely get noticed, I just don't like to be following someone with the brightasslights at night. I will pass them.
