Default remove wax from engine case?

Ive been using Glare products to polish my bike, but I accidentally got some on the black part of the engine. Regular soap and water did not remove it, wha else could I use?

If it were me, I would try using some brake cleaner. Use in a well ventilated area when the engine is COLD.

I have the same issue. Soap and water didn't work well for me either. I've read the various solutions in another thread but haven't tried any of them yet. I do really like the glare polish, though. The best I've ever used...now if I can just learn to be more careful and get it off of the engine black.

Brake cleaner and YOUR WIFE's tooth brush. Don't use your own tooth brush. It will turn your teeth black. Use your wife's!

Pig Spit on the black parts of the engine for anything that gets on there 'cept paint and such.
No rubbing, scrubbing, rinsing or any other work.
Just spray it on and pop a beer .......

Save your money on all that other crap. Lemon Pledge works for me everytime and costs 3.99 at Walmart.
