The front fuel tank mounts may distort in reaction to severe frame damage from a frontal collision. This condition may cause a fuel leak at the weld of the front bracket to the tunnel. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire, which could lead to injury or death to the rider.

Well what do you know--they couldn't change the trans fluid because the factory welded the cross-member in the wrong location! Now, they say I need a frame swap from the factory . . . are you kidding me??

Yes you could definitely widen the hole but if it were me I would have them replace the frame. For the amount of money spent on a 2010 SEUC I would want everything to be right.
go troll somewhere else.....none had a recall!!!!!!!tank mount on 09's that it!!!!!!!!!

leohd; The Tank is bolted to the Frame...no matter how you look at it , it was a Frame up grade.....unless you can explain to me diffrent without the name calling....
I have a 2009 and had the tank mount Recall done...I still feel it was because the frame was week in that one area and was wondering what 2010 2011 frames looked like in that area...

I have a 2009 and had the tank mount Recall done...I still feel it was because the frame was week in that one area and was wondering what 2010 2011 frames looked like in that area...

Only thing I would add is they all cost to much to go cutting the frame with a hole saw!
