I rode the cross county (very much like the Vision, just not as ugly) up at Tomahawk. It's motor is quiet and smooth. It's wheel base feels longer than my 2006 street glide, but that was not a problem getting used to. I got to ride with my GF and the bike provided a lot of room for us both. Acceleration was good, but being a demo ride I didn't really get a chance to get on it too much. Storage space is a big problem, but other than than, it's a nice machine.

I haven't ridden a Vic yet, as I'm not in the market for a new bike. That said, had I not been doing the Sportster trade-up when I got my Limited, I would have looked really hard at the Cross Country. Everyone I know who owns a Vision swears by them. They are exceptionally good bikes for long-distance touring. Call me shallow, but I can't get past the looks.
But in 6 years or so when I'm looking again, The Cross Country will be on my short list.
i thought it was a very impressive motorcycle.handles awsome and very good power stock.the moveable windsheild does work well and i had no buffeting.my bigges grip is the hand controls with the stuff just hanging down, does not look thought out.i really like how clean every thing looks compared to my hd with wires running all over the place.i would consider one but there is no dealers near by.my hd dealer is only 2 miles away,so you know what i will be riding
