OK so I have $5000 grand to play with. I have a 09 FLHX. Its pretty much stock except for a stage one kit, and bolt on chrome stuff.. So I was thinking of going with the Renegade 21" wheel.. The Swordfish!! Then basically clean up the front end with chrome fork lowers, matching floating rotor, and new 6 piston caliper. I am thinking of getting the lowered bags from Sinnister. Finally but not last a custom paint job.. I have gotten a few estimates for paint around $2000. Anything I missed? I would like to get some Ape Hangers but I am on a budget. I was qouted $3800 for parts. So that would mean I am over my budget allready. BUMMER!!!

 

Oh ya I forgot allready. I Klock Werks custom front fender.

I'd use it all on Hookers & Blow,an FLHX is pretty nice right out of the crate.

Why change to 6 piston calipers?

 

Man I wish I had 5k to play with. I like the idea of the wheel and front end. Not sure what paint you have now, but I would do more engine upgrades instead of paint job. Stretched bags would be nice too.

 

I would do everything but paint, get all dressed up first then do your make up!

 

Just give me your bike and $5 grand and you can have my bike. Already set up like you want and ready to ride
