No one heard of the best engine put out by Harley?

Puts HQ, performance, and some others to shame on the dyno..

I just started putting mine together. Never heard of a complete motor. Price sounds like a kit to me. Are you getting new cases also? It took some time to get my parts. As they are shipped vendor direct. My case was back ordered for a bit. I'm hopeing my new camplate and oilpump get in in the next day or so if so should have the motor put in by the weekend.

Boomer,
Since you are building one, can you confirm:

1) Who actually makes the internal parts? Jims, Wiseco, etc.?

2) It has been said if you get the $590 cases, you have to turn in your old cases to HD?

3) Does HD punch a VIN number on the new 120" cases?

Thanks

The only reference I have seen to that motor is in this brochure. Scroll down a bit. The kit is in the price range you mention.

Sounds cool. Add the 58mm, injectors and SEPST, and pipes. Put the 96 in the shed and off you shoot. Much quicker and cheaper than a kit.

I believe the internals are all Jims - can anyone confirm this?

I wonder if the cams are chain drive?

Should use the new roller chain set-up. Don't believe you can buy a SE cam in gear drive.
