I bought it a little while ago. I had the wrong part number. The one I stated earlier was for a softail. The touring was even cheaper.

pn. 19220-11 eng $5,495.99 dis to $4,396.79
pn. 27713-08 58mm efi 399.99 dis to 319.99
pn. 27796-08 hi flo inj 139.99 dis to 111.99
pn. 32109-08b efi super 459.99 dis to 367.99
pn. 37976-08 se race clutch 249.99 dis to 199.99

Tot. 6285.96 dis 1257.20. Total with tax 5796.11. Tax was 395.22.

They also have VIP punch cards. Every time you spend $25 they punch the card. $250 and the card is full and you get to buy something for $25 from the store. They gave me $600 in cards for the purchase. That with go towards something nice later.

I like the deal. Some will disagree with my choice, but I'm comfortable with it.. I'll put my engine on my shelf in case/when I break this one.

Just passing on info.

I'm am in disbelief that they are discounting the entire engine to $4400.00.

Not saying it isn't true, but if realistic, this makes the entire deal absolutely the best big motor option to date.

Maybe the discount dealers are going to make it up in rear tire sales?

Go to chicagoharley.com and type in part no. 19220. Not so hard to believe after that.

It's not the complete motor for the 4,400.00 It's a do it yourself kit that doesn't include the short block. it does include the TB and a SE race tuner that the long block for 5,500.00 dosen't include.

I would like the option of putting the whole long block together at a discounted price that way I could get the crank trued and welded.

A Harley dealer near me was giving a guy with a trike and 103 motor w/3,500 miles on it a 2,000.00 trade towards the 120R. You just can't build it for that price. I'm now thinking about selling my 96" and a set of ported and polished SE 110 heads that I have to bring this 5,500.00 beast to my garage

You can find more info here at page 20/21 http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US...bmLocale=en_US

Oh and I was told there is no warranty. IT's a race only item

Completely different lower engine case configuration.

S&S has the engine for the older bikes (2005 and below).

Yup, buy her now, or, wait until 2013 and she'll be the SE engine for sure. My crystal ball says that the 110 will be the stock motor, or maybe the "Anniversary" scoot in 2013, the, ahem, 110th anniversary of Harley. Remember how many 100th Anniversary bikes were sold?

HD can't use the 110 for their SE line and expect to sell a butt load (that's an accounting term and legit for this forum) of scoots at $35k for the 110th Anniversary Bike. However, they can expect to sell a butt load of 110th Anniversary Bikes at, say, $25-$27k for the fully loaded Ultra Classic with a 110 engine.

So, in 2013 I predict...
the 103 is the standard motor
the 110 is the 110th anniversary bike motor
and the 120 is the SE motor.

Any one else see what I see?
