i am going to do the sweepers +2 on my limited this winter. not planning on chroming it out. kinda like the black grips and controls. going to get a painted black inner fairing too.
saw a previous post with pics of black handlebars and they looked pretty good. think it would be too black? i would probably have to switch out my levers to black too. dont get me wrong, i'm not trying to black out the bike. i like some chrome.
also thinking about the black true duals with black monster ovals. they look very nice.
black can scratch, I mounted my Zumo on my bars then wanted to change - removed the mount only to find that the mount scratched the bars, so that is where the mount will stay.. chrome will not do that
I tried the black bars this time just because I didn't want to go the whole chrome switch housing and levers again. All that chrome looks better, but staying black was a lot cheaper.

yours was the one i saw. i think it looks great. are you still glad you did it? or bored. i am painting my inner fairing and was going to do black, but if i do black bars, maybe i will do the blue on the fairing . i have the blue and black limited.
