08 Roadglide is the second bike, it gets all the long hauls and everyday use (since 08). 03 Softail completely personalized is the 1st love I mean bike with over 40k miles it is taking the glide a while to surpass it.
In addition to my everyday Roadking, I've got a 1994 Dyna that I got new and will keep as long as I can still ride it. In the past I've had a Triumph to go with my Harley and I also once had a BSA to go with my Harley.
I would like a 1000cc sportbike to take my aggression out on instead of beating up on the glide. It can take it but I would muchh rather this bike last for ever.
Bought a used 04 Sporty 883 Custom as a "surprise" for the OL. It had the 1200 upgrade & Cycle Shop drag pipes, otherwise stock. Kept at a buddy's house while I fixed it all up for her ( a bunch of chrome, as the 883' came with little to no chrome, 80 spoke front wheel, chromed the rear solid wheel, solo seat, chrome controls & switches, ect., ect., ect. all the things she said she likes on a bike). "SURPRISE!!"... She rode it ONCE! Said she prefers riding on the back of the E-Glide! Now "I" have a 04 Sporty covered up in the garage that I take around the block 3 or 4 time a year! NO MORE SURPRISES FOR HER!
P.S. As can be seen it the last pic, the drag pipes were replaced with a 2into1. MAKE OFFER! LOL!!
