I found this today. Very good How-to in my opinion. Also check out the other articles on how to remove swirls or scratches. Good stuff.

That was informative but I know that I will never spend that much time cleaning my bike.

why would anyone spend that much time cleaning and shining a motorcycle? check the air pressure and fluid levels and go riding!!
